Gender Equity draft Policy - HWFAC's Response Dear Sir: Thank you the opportunity to review the HWDSB Draft Equity Policy - Supporting Guidelines : Gender Equity. As you are aware, the issue of sexuality is of utmost importance to Judeo-Christian principled families and the Hamilton-Wentworth Family Action Council. We have reviewed the draft version and provide the following comments: This policy appears to be based on an ideology that gender differences do not actually exist and that gender identity confusion is a normative experience. As this is not factual, the entire policy is built upon a false foundation. When reviewing the Glossary definition of 'gender' it seems that HWDSB is saying that there are not simply two genders but many genders ...More...

12th Annual Scavenger Hunt for Birthright
In 1997, as HWFAC began to expose the deeds of Public Health and Planned Parenthood clinics, we realized that a suitable pro-abstinence, pro-life resource would be needed to provide good help and counseling for young women. It was a Focus on the Family article that inspired us to sponsor scavenger hunts on Father's Day weekend each year with all supplies and monies going directly to Birthright. This year HWFAC will sponsor the 12th Annual Scavenger Hunt for Birthright.
Birthright is a pro-life crisis pregnancy counseling service providing pre & post - natal support for women
and their babies. In the year 2006 - 351 babies under the age of 1 and their mothers were supported as a result
of their work. This special community organization is in need of : baby clothes, diapers, baby toiletries
(shampoo, soaps etc.), baby bottles, formula, maternity clothes and financial contributions.
( Please no furnishings, car seats, strollers, toys or baby powder.)
