Unhealthy Objectionable Ideologies!!

The HWFAC is not just concerned about the ideology promoted in anti-homophobia curriculum, but all ideologies promoted that will result in the teaching of unsafe behaviours, unsafe physically, emotionally, and with our families, spiritually. This includes many of the Harm Reduction ideologies, where it is assumed that, because there are kids taking drugs, we ought to give them clean needles, and because there are kids that are having sex, we ought to give them condoms, with the message that it is okay as long as you do it safely!

Those who oppose such an approach are labeled as people who are in denial of the 'realities' of drug use, and sexual activity. However, studies show that this approach only adds fuel to the fire. Better to do all that you can to prevent fires from starting, and then help those suffering from such activity to stay away from it in the future.

What is Anti-Homophobia Curriculum? It is not just about respect for all persons, including those with same-sex parents; it is about the teaching of a whole ideology, a set of beliefs that has at its foundation an emotional plea for the feelings of those who have sexual attractions toward the same sex. It blames dire physical, sociological, medical and psychological consequences upon society's lack of acceptance and 'homophobia'.

Scientific fact reveals that the human body parts and immune system cannot sustain unnatural sexual activity without causing physical diseases, and emotional and psychological problems.

One of the goals of anti-homophobia curriculum is to teach all students that sexual attraction to others of the same sex, or both sexes, is natural and to be encouraged and celebrated,
(See brochure) and also that feelings of gender identity questioning (e.g. Physically, I am a boy, but today I don't feel like a boy, I feel more like a girl, therefore, inside I am a girl.) is also normal. Their website resources point students to many other sexual orientations (there are 22 identified.) Their many, many claims (explained to students and teachers as 'realities') are in direct conflict with medical fact and parental moral instruction (which are explained as 'myths').

Its whole ideology is based on how 'homophobia' and 'heterosexism' is held by society at large, that LGBTT persons feel the discrimination against them parallels the discrimination held in the past, and still in the present, against Jews and other races, and this 'homophobia' of which we all suffer from, results in their physical, and emotional harm. Yet, they have access to services and facilities like everyone else. They want acceptance, not tolerance.

All persons are made equal and in God's image, but not all persons thoughts and activities have equal consequences; we cannot teach that they do. That's why Canadian Blood Services will not accept their blood for donation. That's why we have discernment and laws passed that are based on the health and safety of society. See resource list.

LANGUAGE
It seems to be a battle as to whose ideology defines the language. The Ministry of Education more or less supports Miriam-Webster, while the Teachers Unions and LGBT and constructivist organizations make up their own, and re-define existing ones. Consider the new language and its implied societal and legal acceptance of its victimization/ discrimination that goes way beyond the parameters of discrimination explicitly named in our federal and provincial documents.
HWDSB's Equity Policy Nov. 1/04 Glossary with HWFAC Comparison- Its website still has the February 9/05 glossary posted, instead of the November 1/05 glossary. Take careful note of the definitions for bias, cultural identity, curriculum, ethnicity, discrimination. There are a few other definitions that also make a failing grade.

Defining Tolerance
"When some use the word tolerance, they mean the first definition you find in the dictionary: recognition of and respect for the opinions, practices, or behavior of others. However, it is important to understand that respect here means not veneration, but the avoidance of interference. Without this clarification, the definition of tolerance comes to be viewed as a gushing acceptance of just about everything someone says or does. Some even go so far as to define tolerance as the embracing and celebration of the opinions, practices, or behaviors of others.
Many educators and parents, however, cringe at the moral relativism of this approach. Yet, they ... " See rest of

HWDSB's
UNSAFE BEHAVIOURS
Anti-homophobia curriculum is not about respect for all persons, but about the teaching of a whole ideology, a set of beliefs that has at its foundation an emotional plea for the feelings of those who have unnatural, unhealthy sexual attractions and who want to express and have accepted and celebrated those sexual attractions. Having the sympathy of society, pursuading some that their behaviour cannot be separated from their thoughts and desires, they demand their inclusion as a race, minority and/or culture, to be a part of the 'diversity' that is our pluralistic society.

Winning this emotional plea, they continue to demand the rights under discrimination and equality laws, even though there is no equality of consequences/results from their sexual union. The consequences, are indeed, statistically-speaking, often quite grave. But they have, through emotional pleas and charges of homophobia, intolerance, etc., deceived many and blurred the psychological, sociological, medical, scienfic and moral realities/consequences suffered by those who act on homosexual thoughts.
